Throughout her career, Kim has supported patients across a broad range of health concerns, with particular expertise in women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, contraception, menopause, obstetrical care, and complex gynecologic concerns. Prior to joining Rise Women’s Health, she practiced within both primary care and a hospital-based women’s health program, where she served in a leadership role supporting specialized care for patients throughout the region.

Kim also previously worked within a virtual gender-affirming care program, providing affirming and evidence-based care for transgender and gender-diverse individuals. She has extensive experience supporting patients through hormone therapy, transition-related care, and ongoing primary healthcare needs.

In addition to her clinical work, Kim is actively involved in teaching and mentorship. She works with Queen’s University to support the education of medical residents in women’s health, helping train future healthcare providers in patient-centred, evidence-based care.

Kim’s commitment to compassionate, individualized healthcare has been recognized through a Patient-Centred Care Award, reflecting her dedication to ensuring patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Through Rise Women’s Health, Kim provides evidence-based, affirming care for women and gender-diverse individuals across Ontario.

Her areas of focus include gender-affirming care, sexual and reproductive health, contraception, menopause, hormone therapy, and complex gynecologic concerns.

Why She Joined Rise Women’s Health

Kim joined Rise Women’s Health because she shares the clinic’s commitment to providing accessible, inclusive, and patient-centred care.

Many individuals seeking support for hormonal health, reproductive health, menopause, complex gynecologic concerns, or gender-affirming care encounter barriers that can make accessing timely, specialized care challenging. Kim is passionate about helping bridge those gaps by providing thoughtful, evidence-based care in an environment that prioritizes listening, education, and shared decision-making.

She believes every patient deserves the time, information, and support needed to make informed decisions about their health and to feel confident in their care.
